LINCOLN, CA, January 13, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- William C. Sveglini, Composer, Arranger and Music Educator of Sveglini Music Publishing and Arranging, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in his field.

Mr. Sveglini has nurtured artistic and creative talents throughout a musical career that has spanned more than 40 years. An accomplished conductor and arranger, he serves diligently as an educator, conductor and artistic director for Lincoln Hills Community Chorus, which encompasses 140 members. Mr. Sveglini is also lauded among jazz aficionados for the musical arrangements he has made available to people worldwide. Moreover, he is a talented jazz guitarist, and has been performing professionally in a jazz duo for the past five years.

Mr. Sveglini was inspired to follow his current career path by the experience he gained as a conductor in high school. He went on to earn a master's degree in composition and music theory at the Argo Conservatory of Music. With a long-standing passion for his chosen profession, Mr. Sveglini attributes his success to his love of music and enjoyment of seeing people learn. In addition, he is motivated by a genuine desire to write and conduct beautiful choral arrangements, especially arrangements of liturgical music. He remains abreast of trends and developments as a member of the American Choral Directors Association, American String Teachers Association, MTNA, MTAC and MENC. He also holds membership to The Delian Society, an international group that encourages original compositions and fosters an appreciation of tonal art music.

In the near future, Mr. Sveglini hopes to raise his choral ensemble to the next level and take them out on tour. He also hopes to get on the road as a guest lecturer and motivational speaker for music education, especially choral education.
