PHUKET, THAILAND, July 13, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The group has been playing together since the early 1980s and is named after a type of wild sheep that lives in the hills of Corsica. The two brothers that founded the group were inspired to go down the traditional Corsican folk music route by their poet father from a young age. They have remained true to their principles through the years; they record all of their music in the Corsican language, and do their best to promote Corsican culture.

The group is large, consisting of three vocalists, drums, bass, guitar, piano and synthesizer, and a large string section. They have been prolific in their career, producing 17 albums over 30 years; their greatest hit to date was their collaboration with Sting on Fields of Gold.

The Gare de Midi is an impressive building - an old imperial station dating back to the days of Napoleon III and built in the Art Nouveau style; it is a top class venue for music performances.
