TENBY, WALES, June 22, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bex Marshall and her band are set to play in Dyfed in July thanks to a collaboration between community arts charity Span Arts and the Tenby Blues Fest.
The London-based musician is due to take the stage at the Queens Hall on Saturday July 9th as part of her extensive UK tour, which also includes performances in London, Colchester and at Glastonbury Festival.
Gig-goers can expect to hear material from Marshall's most recent album, Kitchen Table, as well as tracks from her as-yet-untitled third LP, which is due to be released in September.
Among the guest stars to appear on her new record are Don Wayne Reno, Jake Byers and Dale Reno, all of whom are members of bluegrass cover band Hayseed Dixie.
Throughout her touring career, Marshall has shared a bill with some of the biggest names in international folk and roots music, including Bob Dylan, Billy Bragg, The Pogues and The Proclaimers.
Doors at the Queens Hall are scheduled to open at 20:00 BST on the night, with tickets priced at GBP10 or GBP9 for concessions.
The venue is located in Narberth, just over ten miles north of Tenby.
