American pop star Katy Perry will perform in Berlin on March 4th.

BERLIN, GERMANY, January 25, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Berlin hotels are set to welcome hordes of Katy Perry fans when the singer's California Dreams tour arrives in the city later this year.

The US pop sensation is due to perform at the Max-Schmeling-Halle on Friday March 4th, giving her devoted German followers a chance to hear all the hits from her recent album Teenage Dream.

Last month, Perry announced that the venue for her Berlin performance had been changed from the Columbiahalle.

Tickets for the original show are still valid, but additional tickets are now available for EUR35.20 (GBP29.80) as a result of the switch to the Max-Schmeling-Halle.

Following her domination of the charts in 2010, Perry is touring all over the world this year.

She may have tied the knot with comedian and actor Russell Brand a few months ago, but the 26-year-old shows no signs of settling down for a quiet life at home just yet.

As well as dates across continental Europe, the UK and Ireland, she is set to perform in Australia and Japan during the first half of the year.

Fans heading to Perry's concert in Berlin will no doubt be hoping to hear tracks like Firework and California Gurls, which reached number three on the German charts and number one in the UK.

Songs from the star's 2008 album One of the Boys are also likely to make an appearance, including her breakthrough hit I Kissed a Girl and the follow-up single Hot n Cold.

Doors will open at 18:30 local time, with the show due to begin at 20:00.
