Fans can expect a high-energy show if they have tickets for the upcoming Pennywise gig in Milan.

MILAN, ITALY, December 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Milan will welcome veteran punk band Pennywise to one of its best-known venues in 2011 for a high-octane show.

They will play at the Discoteca Alcatraz on February 3rd 2011 along with some special guests who have yet to be confirmed.

Jim Lindberg had provided lead vocals for the band since they formed in 1988, but in August 2009 he chose to leave and has been replaced by Ignite frontman Zoli Teglas.

Pennywise are widely accepted to be one of the most successful independent punk bands of all time, particularly thanks to the popularity of 1995's About Time, which is one of nine studio LPs the group has released.

It will be intriguing to see how Teglas's presence affects the delivery of their back catalogue of hits, as well as any new material that has been written since he joined in February 2010.
