Helloween will bring their unique style of hard rock to Paris in January for a show that features Stratovarius in support.

PARIS, FRANCE, December 05, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fans of hard rock staying in one of the fine hotels Paris offers will have the opportunity to catch a live show by one of the pioneers of the genre this winter in the shape of Helloween.

The veteran German group have released a new album this year entitled 7 Sinners, which means that they will have plenty of new material to mix in with their vast back catalogue of songs.

Formed in the 1980s, Helloween have a huge number of albums under their belt, including The Time of the Oath, Keeper of the Seven Keys Part I and their self-titled debut from 1985.

On their official website, the band proclaim themselves the inventors of German melodic speed metal, which suggests it could be an energetic and entertaining gig.

The only two surviving members of the original line-up are bassist Markus Grosskopf and lead guitarist Michael Weikath, with several hard-rocking musicians having graced the Helloween team over the years.

Fans heading to the show from nearby accommodation such as Hotel Montpellier Paris will also be able to enjoy the musical stylings of Stratovarius - a Finnish power metal band also formed in the 1980s - who are supporting.

Admission for the show is EUR29.70 (GBP24.95), with the doors opening at 18:30 local time on the night and the music getting going at 19:00.
