The multi-talented performer is coming to Bali to raise money for a local natural birthing clinic.

SEMINYAK, INDONESIA, December 10, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael Franti will be coming to Bali for a special New Year's Eve performance.

The Californian poet, musician and composer is holding the concert at the Panchoran Retreat in order to boost the coffers of the Bumi Sehat Natural Birthing Clinic.

Franti is perhaps best known for his work with Spearhead, which yielded 2008 album All Rebel Rockers and his biggest hit, Say Hey (I Love You).

As well as the multi-talented American, a packed line-up has been announced for the December 31st event, which could make the spectacle even more attractive to people staying in Seminyak hotels at the time.

He will be joined by a whole host of friends, including Joni Agung Reggae, Navicula, Anonymous Source Soundsystem, DJ David J & Rebecca and DJ Mikey.

The music will be playing all the way through until dawn, with a full bar, food court and a fireworks display all planned to keep the crowd entertained.

Although the organisers will no doubt be hoping for good weather, they have promised the occasion will take place in rain or shine.

Anyone keen to attend the all-night party can pick up tickets now for $27 (GBP17), with doors at the venue set to open at 21:00 local time.
