LateRooms.com - U2 360 Degrees Tour Heads to Perth Next Month
U2 and special guest Jay-Z will play two shows in Perth next month.
PERTH, AUSTRALIA, November 17, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The huge U2 360 Degrees tour, which has rocked stadiums across the world, will come to an end in Australia and New Zealand with two gigs in Perth next month.
One of the biggest rock bands of all time, U2 were watched live by more than four million fans in 2009 and demand for tickets down under has been just as high.
Their dates at the Subiaco Oval have already sold out and thousands of people are set to descend on the venue on December 18th and 19th 2010 for the shows, which will see the Irish band joined by hip-hop legend Jay-Z.
A performance of Sunday Bloody Sunday at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin late last year convinced the acts to tour together, which means people staying in one of the 5 star hotels Perth has available will get to see two of the most famous names of the current music scene.
U2 have once again decided to accompany their live show with an impressive set, comprising a cylindrical video system made from interlocking LED panels and a 150ft tall steel structure that towers above the stage.
Doors of the Subiaco Oval, which was built in 1908 and can hold 43,500 people when full, are set to open at 16:30 local time for the shows.
For more information on this event, visit the Subiaco Oval website or contact the venue on (+61) 8 9381 5599.
