Hard rock fans in Milan are sure to be licking their lips in anticipation of Avenged Sevenfold's performance in the Italian city.

The band consists of M Shadows on vocals, Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance on guitars, Johnny Christ playing bass and Dream Theatre drummer Mike Portnoy currently hitting the sticks.

One blogger recently described Avenged Sevenfold as offering the best performance at the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival in the US.

Jeff O'Kelley remarked on the Daily Loaf: "Vocalist M Shadows emerged from the darkness and fog, just as flames lit [up] the remaining band members and a set built to resemble the front gates of a cemetery."

The author was full of praise for the group's pyrotechnic show and suggested they did not pause long enough to take a breath during their one-hour set.
