The Philipshalle will provide the venue for Limp Bizkit's Dusseldorf concert later this year.
DUSSELDORF, GERMANY, July 20, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rap metal giants Limp Bizkit are set to perform live in Dusseldorf on Sunday September 5th.
The American band will be playing the German city's Philipshalle venue in support of their forthcoming new album Gold Cobra, which is causing feverish excitement among fans of the group.
As Limp Bizkit's first full-length release since 2003's Results May Vary, the album has been a long time in the making.
It also represents the first time the original line-up has recorded together since 2000, as guitarist Wes Borland rejoined singer Fred Durst and his other bandmates in February 2009 after several years spent pursuing other projects.
Dusseldorf hotel demand is expected to grow significantly in anticipation of the gig, with thousands of Limp Bizkit's German-based fans heading to the city.
Tickets for the concert, which gets underway at 17:00 local time, are available from EUR44.40 (GBP37.10).
Known for hits such as Break Stuff and Rollin', Limp Bizkit rose to prominence in 1999 with their second album Significant Other, which established them as one of the leading bands of the 'Nu metal' movement.
Their song N 2 Together Now features vocals by Wu-Tang Clan rapper Method Man, while the group also had an early hit with a cover of Faith by George Michael.
