One of the Czech Republic's biggest music festivals will take place next month.

Machovo Lake near the town of Doksy will play host to the event, which takes place for one day only on August 20th 2010, with a whole host of big-name international DJs and local favourites booked to play sets.

Among the stars who will display their talents on the wheels of steel are Axwell, Max Vangeli, Marco V and Sidney Sampson - who is best known in the UK for his recent singles Shut Up and Let it Go, and Riverside, which reached number two in the charts last year.

According to information and listings resource Prague Events Calendar, the Machac Festival is the country's most attended show of its kind, with thousands of visitors typically gathering at Klucek Beach to enjoy the music.

Regular tickets for the party are available for just 695 Czech koruna (GBP22.76) when purchased in advance, while those who would rather sample the event in a little more style can opt to pay 2,700 Czech koruna for VIP entry.

Gates to the site will swing open at 18:00 local time and the revellry is expected to continue late into the night.
