New Zealand singer John Rowles will be appearing at Brothers in Cairns next month.

CAIRNS, AUSTRALIA, July 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Australasian musical royalty John Rowles is coming to the city of Cairns for a show towards the end of next month.

The New Zealander has mixed with some of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry during his decades of fame. Among his many showbiz friends and acquaintances, Rowles can count the likes of Elvis Presley and Tom Jones, while he once dated Barbara Eden, star of I Dream of Jeannie.

There is no doubt that the vocalist is better known down under than he is in the UK, but he has still enjoyed some success in the northern hemisphere. More mature Cairns hotels guests may recall his hit single If I Only Had Time, which reached number three in the charts back in spring 1968.

Among his most famous performances, Rowles has appeared on Top Of The Pops and The Bob Hope Show and also played to 68,000 people at a NASA benefit concert.

He will be appearing at the Brothers venue on August 20th 2010 and looks set to play a whole host of his biggest hits to fans staying at cheap hotels in Cairns.

Doors will open at 20:00 local time and the show is set to kick off half an hour later.
