Sonar Festival is set to welcome Chemical Brothers and Dizzee Rascal to the stage among others for the prestigious music event.

BARCELONA, SPAIN, May 12, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Barcelona's Sonar Festival is set to yet again present attendees with some of the biggest names in dance music, pop, post rock and experimental jazz, as well as hosting several art exhibitions.

Among the major groups playing at this year's event are Air, Chemical Brothers, Dizzee Rascal and Roxy Music.

Running from June 17th to 19th, all those who head down to the music showcase will need to stay at accommodation in Barcelona, since it is not a 'campsite' festival.

Some of the art shows that will be taking place during the Catalan occasion include the SonarLab, SonarComplex, Sonarama and SonarVillage.

Tickets for the event are priced at EUR155 (GBP134) for the whole thing, EUR100 for two nights, EUR60 for one night and EUR39 for one day. All of these prices will increase if they are bought on the day rather than online in advance.

This year is the first time that Sonar will be held in two places simultaneously, with events taking place in Barcelona and A Coruna.
