The San Siro Stadium in Milan will host a high-octane live show from rock band Muse in June.

MILAN, ITALY, May 02, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Muse have wowed crowds across Europe for more than a decade now and they will take their lively stage show to Milan for a gig on June 8th as part of their tour supporting the band's fifth album The Resistance.

Music enthusiasts in Milan hotels only have to travel across to the San Siro Stadium to enjoy the concert, which will see singer Matthew Bellamy join bassist Chris Wolstenholme and drummer Dominic Howard on stage to crank out the group's brand of progressive rock to an eager audience.

The band were formed in 1990 and have seen plenty of commercial success with albums from debut record Showbiz up to their most recent long-player, which was released last year.

Muse have a fantastic reputation for their live performances, which is partly down to Bellamy's eccentric lyrical content and classical training, but also simply a result of the energy they create at their gigs.

Fans can expect to see Bellamy step behind a piano and keyboard at points during the performance, as well as thrash at his guitar for the more rocking anthems in the band's back catalogue.

If people cannot get tickets for this gig at the San Siro, with prices starting from EUR36.80 (GBP32) and the concert kicking off at 21:15, then they can catch Muse at Latvia's Positivus Festival on July 17th, as the band have just confirmed that they will be playing the event.
