LateRooms.com - Heavy Metal Fans Prepare for Sonisphere in Prague
The Prague leg of this summer's Sonisphere festival is set to feature the likes of Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax.

PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC, May 19, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- One of Europe's biggest touring festivals for fans of hard rock music is due to arrive on the outskirts of the Czech capital next month.

Sonisphere will take place at Milovice Airport on June 19th and features a line-up packed with big-name bands from the world of rock and heavy metal.

People using Prague hotels for the event can look forward to a headlining set from Metallica, as well as performances by three other giants of the thrash scene: Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax.

This hard-hitting quartet are joined on the main stage bill by the likes of Alice in Chains, Stone Sour, Rise Against and Mastodon.

In addition, Sonisphere will aim to accommodate dance music fans with sets from Pendulum and Adam Freeland on the Saturn Stage.

The venue was recently moved to Milovice from Mimon in an attempt to improve the experience for festival goers.

"We always wanted to give the best conditions to the visitors and we have found them in the location in Milovice," explained Sonisphere spokesperson Harry Jenner.

Standard tickets for the festival are priced at 1,890 koruna (GBP63.70), while VIP passes can be purchased for 4,990 koruna.

After the Prague event, Sonisphere will continue to festival sites in Sofia, Athens, Bucharest and Istanbul.
