GUITARIST ACE FREHLEY WINNER OF BIG KISS POLL
Original Kiss guitar player Ace Frehley is the winner of Kiss fan site Kiss On Fire's poll regarding the favorite Kiss member.

/Music and Recording News Articles/ - GOTEBORG, SWEDEN, August 02, 2008 - The Kiss fan site Kiss On Fire (kissonfire.blogspot.com) has made a big poll regarding the Kiss fans' favorite Kiss member. Out of all the votes, former guitar player Ace Frehley is the winner with almost 40 percent of the votes.

The total result is the following:

Ace Frehley: 39,3%
Paul Stanley: 20,2%
Peter Criss: 12,9%
Gene Simmons: 11,0%
Eric Carr: 5,5%
Eric Singer: 3,7%
Vinnie Vincent: 2,4%
Mark St. John: 1,9%
Tommy Thayer: 1,9%
Bruce Kulick: 1,2%

Ace Frehley is Kiss' original guitar player and stayed with the band until 1982. He returned to the band in 1996 but left for good (?) in 2002. He is a now a successful solo artist.

An interesting fact is that original bass player Gene Simmons (who together with vocalist/guitarist Paul Stanley is the only original member left in the band) only came at fourth place. Both Paul Stanley and original drummer Peter Criss (who left the band in 2004) came at higher positions.

Drummer Eric Carr, who sadly passed away in 1991, came at a honourable fifth place.
